Winter Olympics 2026 FAQs: Milano Cortina

The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from 6–22 February 2026, with some competitions starting as early as 4 February.

Events will be spread across northern Italy, primarily in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, with additional venues in Valtellina (Bormio, Livigno), Val di Fiemme (Predazzo, Tesero), Anterselva/Antholz, and Verona.

There will be 116 medal events across 16 disciplines, including the Olympic debut of ski mountaineering.

The first phase of ticket sales opens on 6 February 2025 for those registered by 15 January 2025. General sales begin in April 2025. Paralympic Games tickets go on sale from 6 March 2025.
