As the last race is run and the light goes, the Parade Ring at the heart of the course turns into an open-air arena and a headline act takes the stage. Recent years have brought the likes of Groove Armada, Hot Chip and Sub Focus, a different name each Friday.
From the Charlton Hunt you simply move down from the balcony to the dancefloor, drink in hand, with the racing behind you and the summer night ahead. It is the most relaxed, best-dressed party of the British summer, and the racing is genuinely good.

Gates open and you are shown to your reserved table in the Charlton Hunt, on the first floor of the Charlton Stand in the premier Richmond Enclosure. A champagne reception and canapes to start, with the Downs laid out in front of you.

Twilight racing from your balcony
A full card of flat racing as the sun drops behind the grandstand. You watch from your own balcony by the winning post, with dinner served through the evening and an open bar at hand. Betting facilities are a step away.

A headline act in the Parade Ring
When racing finishes, the Parade Ring becomes an open-air arena and the headline act takes the stage. You move straight down from the balcony to the floor, drink in hand, for the main event under the summer sky.

The music runs until late. When you are ready, hospitality car parking is close by, or we can arrange a car and driver to take you home or back to your hotel on the coast.

It sits on the first floor of the Charlton Stand in the premier Richmond Enclosure, with a private balcony looking straight down on the winning post and the Horse Walk below.
