When is the 2027 Cheltenham Festival?
The 2027 Cheltenham Festival takes place from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th March 2027 at Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park, Gloucestershire GL50 4SH. The dates have been officially confirmed by The Jockey Club. There are four days of racing: Champions Day (Tuesday), Ladies Day (Wednesday), St Patrick’s Thursday, and Gold Cup Day (Friday).
What time does hospitality open and close?
The Courtyard VIP hospitality opens at approximately 10:30am with morning coffee and biscuits. A four-course luncheon is served from 12:00pm, with the first race typically at 1:30pm. Afternoon tea is served between races at approximately 3:30pm. The bar and hospitality remain open until approximately 6:00pm.
Is car parking included?
Yes. Reserved car parking is included with the Courtyard VIP package at a rate of one car park label per four guests. Additional parking labels may be available on request. The car park is within walking distance of the hospitality village.
Can I book individual days or do I need all four?
You can book individual days or any combination of the four Festival days. Many clients opt for Gold Cup Friday or Champion Hurdle Tuesday as standalone days. Multi-day packages are also available and can be tailored to your group’s requirements. Speak with our team to discuss the best option.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the Club Enclosure at Cheltenham is smart. Gentlemen are expected to wear a suit, collar and tie. Ladies should wear smart daywear. Jeans, trainers and casual wear are not permitted in the Club Enclosure. A detailed dress code guide is provided upon booking confirmation.
How do I get to Cheltenham Racecourse?
Cheltenham Racecourse is located at Prestbury Park, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire GL50 4SH. By car, it is accessible via the M5 motorway (junction 10 or 11). Cheltenham Spa is the nearest train station, with shuttle buses running to the racecourse during the Festival. Coach and helicopter transfers can also be arranged through our concierge team.
