The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be the first 48‑team World Cup and the first to be co‑hosted by three nations—Canada, Mexico and the United States. Sixteen state‑of‑the‑art stadiums spread across iconic cities such as New York–New Jersey, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Toronto will stage 104 matches between 11 June and 19 July 2026. The final takes place at New York–New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, while Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca has the honour of the opening game.
